INREV is an international organization with 37 employees from across 20 different countries, dedicated to supporting the European non-listed real estate industry. With a strong focus on data and technology, INREV is constantly improving its services and processes. The data and IT team consists of two data engineers/scientists and one IT consultant. INREV is looking for a Head of Data Analytics & IT who can elevate data and IT strategies and contribute to a secure, efficient, and future-proof digital environment.

 

Role Overview

Are you passionate about building a data-driven culture and shaping the digital strategy of an international organization? At INREV, we’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Head of Data Analytics & IT to lead the way in transforming how we manage, use, and secure data. In this pivotal role, you’ll develop and implement an integrated data and IT strategy that enables smarter decision-making, supports our strategic objectives, and strengthens our digital foundation.

 

You will lead a growing team of data and IT professionals, champion a culture of data across the organization, and ensure that our data infrastructure and systems are secure, scalable, and future-ready. Your leadership will be key in guiding INREV towards ISO27001 certification by 2025 and professionalizing our relationships with international tech and data partners.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Data Leadership: Drive the development of a data-first culture by embedding data-driven decision-making across the organization. Develop and maintain robust data governance, architecture, and quality frameworks. Automate the collection, validation, and publication of data to increase efficiency and consistency.
• Lead the Data & IT Team: Manage and mentor a small, international team of data engineers/scientists and an IT consultant. Foster a high-performance environment with a clear focus on collaboration, learning, and innovation.
• Strategic Planning & Execution: Design and oversee an integrated data and IT strategy that supports INREV’s data infrastructure and aligning technology to business needs.
• Security & Compliance: Develop and implement strong security protocols for data and IT systems. Play a leading role in our ISO27001 certification process, ensuring compliance and promoting a security-first mindset across the organization.
• Project & Vendor Management: Oversee the planning and delivery of key data and IT projects, manage budgets, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes. Maintain strong partnerships with international vendors and ensure performance standards are met.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments across INREV to deliver data-enabled solutions that support strategic initiatives. Communicate effectively within a multicultural environment, acting as both a technical advisor and business enabler.
• Innovation & Optimization: Continuously explore and implement new data and IT technologies that enhance operational efficiency, insight generation, and user experience.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• A degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in a Data and/or IT Management role, with a strong track record in both project delivery and team leadership.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing integrated data and IT strategies, managing applications, and ensuring data and system security—preferably in an international context.
• Demonstrated success in building or scaling data infrastructure, governance, and analytics capabilities.
• Experience with ISO27001 certification processes is highly desirable.
• Prior knowledge of the real estate sector or other investment classes is an advantage.

 

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide cross-functional teams and work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.
• Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, data architecture, analytics tools (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Python, or equivalent), and security standards.
• Experience managing external data and IT vendors, with a focus on quality, performance, and alignment with business needs.
• Proven project management skills, ideally supported by certifications such as PRINCE2 or Agile methodologies.
• A proactive, hands-on, and results-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on translating data and technology into actionable business value.
• Flexible and team-oriented, able to adapt easily, bring energy to projects, and thrive in managing a diverse and dynamic portfolio of initiatives.
